TO FURTHER CURTAIL MIGRATION.
DECISION OF STATE PREMIERS. (United Press Association—By Kleotrlt Telegraph—Copyright ) (Received February 21, 9.35 p.m.) CANBERRA, February 21. The Prime Minister (Mr J. H. Scullin), has announced that the State Premiers, in conference, had agreed to his suggestion that the States should discontinue the present practice of sending nominations for migrants to London, and that nominations should in future be left entirely to the Commonwealth Government. The decision will result in a further curtailment of migration.
