THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to fresh, south to south-east; weather unsettled, with an occasional shower likely; cool temperatures. Dominion Meteorologist. A belt of low pressure extends from New Zealand across the Tasman Sea to Central Australia. Expect winds light to moderate westerly to southwesterly at first, Veering later to northerly. Seas generally smooth to moderate. Weather still cloudy and misty, with scattered showers, but mainly light rain, soon improving temporarily. Temperatures mild, except in the south.
