TIMBERLANDS WOODPULP LTD.
PRIZE ESSAY COMPETITION. The Timberlands Woodpulp Ltd. announce that they are donating two gold watches to the writers of the best essays on the woodpulp industry. The gentleman’s prize will be a gold watch valued at £lO/10/-, and the lady’s prize, a gold watch valued at £5/5/-. Special consideration will be given to children’s essays. The title of the Essay will be "The Value of the Woodpulp Industry to New Zealand.’’ A series of articles will appear in the "Timaru Herald” each week dealing with some phase of the woodpulp industry, and competitors so desiring, may make use of the information contained therein. It is one of the conditions of the competition that a cutting of each separate article published in the "Herald” must accompany the essay. Competitors are requested to keep their essays within the limit of about 2,503 words, but an excess of this number of words will not be considered a U'P'-malification. All essays and inquiries in connection with same must be addressed to Timberlands Woodpulp Ltd., c/o Mr W. C. M. Williamson, Box 197, Timaru.
