THE WEATHER.
Dominion Meteorologist. A shallow but extensive low pressure area covers the Tasman Sea and South-eastern Australia. Expect winds south-east to east, later backing to north-east, light to moderate, but freshening later. Seas rather rough between Akaroa and East Cape and about Cook Strait; elsewhere moderate. Weather dull and misty, with rain developing, scattered at first, but later becoming more general. Temperatures milder.
