EXPLOSION AT OIL PLANT.
HEAVY CASUALTY LIST. (United Press Association— By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received February 19, 8.35 p.m.) NEW YORK, February 18. A message from Elizabeth (New Jersey) states that investigations are being made, following a series of terrific explosions at the local alcohol plant of the Standard Oil Company, in which buildings were demolished and terror spread for miles around the countryside.’ Four workmen were killed outright, and sixty-four badly injured. Many of these are believed to be dying. A large number will probably be left blind.
