CHARGES FAIL.
DESCRIBED AS “TRIFLING.” (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received February 19, 8.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 18. The prosecutions against the Parliamentarians, Messrs James and Baddeley, on a charge ol using insulting words to the police on the coalfields, failed. The Magistrates (two of whom were local justices), held that the words used were trifling. The cases were dismissed.
