CLIMBING HIGH
DOMINION ALTITUDE RECORD. By Telegraph—Press Association. BLENHEIM,, February 5. What) is believed to be an altitude record for New Zealand was achieved yesterday afternoon by Miss 1\ Bennett, one of the Marlborough Aero Club’s pilots. In a climb of over two hours she reached 19,000 feet. Mr A. E. Olouston. who went up in another Moth at the mme tune, could not get beyond 13.500 feet, though he had previously been up to 16.000 feet. Miss Bennett, is veiy light, and her machine was in special trim, factors which would assist her in breaking through the “ceiling.”
