GIFT FROM EXECUTIVE COUNCIL. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 3. The Executive Council met in Wellington to-day. The meeting was notable for the fact that it is the last ordinary meeting of the Council to be attended by His Excellency the Governor-General (Sir Charles Fergusson) prior to his departure from New Zealand.
