JUMPED OVER BRIDGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 27. At the inquest on Joseph McDuff Otway, aged 61, who died in the Auckland Hospital on September 11, a.verdict of suicide by jumping over Grafton Bridge was returned. LACK OF CARE. By Telegraph—Press Association. HAWERA, September 27. A verdict that death was purely accidental, and was apparently caused by lack of care in crossing the railway yards, and that no blame was attachable to the men on the moving train, was returned by Mr R. S. Sage, at an inquest this afternoon on Samuel Brown, a railway cadet, aged 18, who died within half an hour, from injuries received when run over by a rake of trucks which was being shunted in the Hawera railway yards at six o'clock on the evening of September 19.
