YOUTHFUL DUNEDIN CRACKSMEN By Tclayrash—Pren Aiaociatioo. DUNEDIN, August 26. The criminal careers at iour busy young Dunedin cracksmen were terminated the other day by defectives, and as a result the youths—Charles Walter Ramsay, Janies Ramsay, John David Caski.2, and Oliver John Keenan —appeared in the Police Court this morning and were dealt with on a lengthy list of charges of breaking and entering premises.- and stealing sums of money ranging from 5s to £l9. There were eleven charges against Charles Ramsay, but the others were not so deeply implicated. All admitted the offences, and were committed to the Supremo Court. Three of the accuseds—Keenan excluded—pleaded guilty to a number of bag snatching offences committed last year, and their cases were adjourned until after the Supreme Court sittings. Two lads charged with receiving stolen goods will appear on Friday before a special sitting of the Children’s Court. Accuseds’ ages vary from '7 to 19.
