BROKEN PROPELLER.
CANADIAN TRANSPORTER’S LONG VOYAGE. By Teleeraph— Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 26. An accident befel the Canadian national steamer Canadian Transporter,i which left Auckland for New York, on I July 9th. When the vessel was nearly \ mid-way between Auckland and Pa- : nama, two blades of the propeller were broken. It was thought the steamer would have to go to Callao (Peru) for ! repairs. According to cable advice, j however, she reached Panama on July • 18th, after 40 days' passage from Auck- j land. Repairs will be effected at Pa- j nama before the voyage is resumed.
