DARING ESCAPE.
CONVICT OUTWITS POLICE. (United Press Association—By Electrio Tel egraph—Copy rlgh t.) SYDNEY, August 20. A daring escape from Katoomba lock-up was effected last night by Albert Zvinder, who was being held on charges connected with robberies in the Blue Mountains. The man rushed at Constable Archer when the latter took him his meal, and struck the policeman a violent blow, knocking him unconscious. Zvinder then locked Constable Archer in the cell and escaped.
