HOCKEY.
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Management Committe of the South Canterbury Hockey Association met last night. Present—Messrs C. D. I Gibson (chair), R. Rennett, W. G. I Annear, W. A. Stead. Correspondence was received from the North Otago Hockey Association re a representative match with South Canterbury on September 7. The South Canterbury v. North Otago match was arranged for September 14. The men’s five-a-side tournament was put forward to September 7, entries to close on September 5. NEXT SATURDAY’S GAMES. Cambridge A v. Cambridge B, Park No. 1, at 3.15 p.m.; referees, Messrs Stead and Davis. South End v. Trinity, Park No. 1, at 2 p.m.; referees, Messrs Hawkey and Waters.
