CHILDREN’S COURT.
TIMARU, AUGUST 24. (Before Mr C. R. Orr-Walkcr. S.M., with the Rev. P. G. Hughes, as associate). INDECENT ASSAULT. A middle-aged man was charged with indecently assaulting a girl at Pleasant Point on August 12, 1929. Mr ,T. Emslie appeared for accused. After evidence had been given as to the place and time of the alleged offence, accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial at the next session of the Supreme Court in Timaru. Ball was allowed in one surety, self £2OO, and two sureties of £IOO.
