At the end of last year there were 2255 motor-cycles in use in Indo-China. About 180 machines were imported during 1928. Magistrate: “Are you quite sure he was the worse for drink?” Constable: ‘No, sir, not positive; but his wife says he brought home a manhole cover in his car and tried to play it on the gramophone.”
