GERALDINE PICTURES. To-night at the Geraldine Municipal Theatre there will be screened ‘‘Metropolis." a whirl of amazing scenes—cerative ingenuity working at thv. highest possible pressure. All the action of "Metropolis” moves to a strange end—its own destruction, when the under-city is flooded through the wrecking of the machines by the infuriated people. The flood bursts through the streets; spreads out and engulfs thousand of children, none ol them more than fourteen, who fight their way to the air-shafts and safety. The mystery of it is its conception and execution How so much life and reality has been created in a thing which has never been and never could be.
