AUSTRALIA'S SHRINKING PATRONAGE.
(United Press Association—By Electrie Telegraph—Copyright.) CANBERRA, August 22. Goods imported into Australia from the United Kingdom last year were valued at approximately £56,000,000. The figures were the lowest for nine years.
Imports from the United States, amounting to about £35,000,000, were about equal to the previous year. The number of motor chasses brought into the Commonwealth last year totalled 99,000, of which the United States supplied 66,000, Canada 23,000, and the United Kingdom 10,000.
