PUBLIC NOTICE. TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL. NTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Resolution was passed by the Ti-. maru Borough Council at a Special Meeting held on the 22nd day of July, 1929, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a Meeting of the Council to be held at the Borough Council Chambers, .King George’s Place, Timaru, on the 26th day of August, 1929, at 7.30 o’clock p.m. The object or purport of the said Resolution is as follows: THAT the Council resolve to make a Bylaw to come into force on the Ist day of September, 1929, which provides as follows: — (a) That Clause (1) (c) of Section 14 of Part 1 of “The Timaru Borough Bylaw Amendment No. 10 be repealed. (b) That no vehicle may be allowed to remain on any portion of a street within thirty feet of the building line at any intersection or corner except for the purpose of setting down or picking up passengers or goods provided however that the time limit set out in Clauses 2 and 3 of Section 13 of Part 11 of “The Timaru Borough Bylaw Amendment No. 10” shall not be infringed. (c) That pedestrians shall not stand or congregate on any street so as to obstruct vehicular traffic. A copy of the said Bylaw has been deposited at the Office of the Council at King George’s Place, Timaru. aforesaid and is open for inspection by the public without payment during office hours which are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Saturdays when such hours are from 9 a.m. to noon.
