ABSCONDED ON BAIL. B J Tc’flflrrftDh—Praia Association. CHRISTCHURCH, August 21. When Robert Albert Holt was called to answer a charge of indecent assault on a female, there was no appearance of accused. The Crown Prosecutor explained that accused had absconded from bail, and a warrant had been issued on Monday for his arrest, on the application of his surety. The Crown Prosecutor applied that bail be estreated, but at the request of counsel for the surety, his Honour agreed to hold over decision.
