YOUTHFUL CRIMINALS
SERIES OF BURGLARY CHARGES. By Telegraph—Fresr Asune’atio*. WELLINGTON, August 21. Cyril Thomas Miller (20), a labourer, and Thomas Henry Hale (19), were before the Court to-day - on various charges of breaking, entering and theft, and were committed for sentence. Arising out of robberies committed by Miller, a seaman named Stuart Raymond McArthur (23), who first met Miller in gaol in 1924, was charged with being in possession of an unlicensed pistol, and with receiving an automatic pistol, a gold wristlet watch, and a 5/- piece, for which he gave small sums. A fine of £5. in default two months’ imprisonment, was imposed.
