INDIAN MILL STRIKE.
EARLY RESUMPTION OF WORK. (United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright ) (Received August 20, 7 p.m.) CALCUTTA. August 20. The Jute Workers’ Union, having accepted the employers’ terms for settlement, the mills were unable to open to-day, due to the workers failing to understand the terms of settlement. All are expected to be back at work to-day. The strike has cost the workers £140,000 in wages.
