BLOWN TO PIECES.
FATE OF IRISH DETECTIVE. (Lnlted Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copvrlght.) LONDON, June 12. Detective O’Sullivan, an officer of the Irish Free State, was blown to pieces by a trap mine in County Clare. The local civil guard received a note stating that an arms dump had been found hidden in a haystack near the barracks. Detectice O'Sullivan and two civil guards found tfie box, but a terrific explosion occurred as they opened It. The other two guards were badly injured.
