WORLD’S RECORD.
The five-kilometre record in Class C, which is for motor-cycles not exceeding 500 c.c., was broken recently, at Montlhery, by a 49 4 c.c. Sarolea. A speed of 112.94 m.p.h. was achieved, which is n< arly 2£ m.p.h. higher than that of the previous record held by A. Denly (4 90 Norton).
