NEW ORIENT LINER
LAUNCHED IN ENGLAND. (United Press Association— By Elsotrlt ralermph -Copyright.) LONDON, February 26 In the midst of a driving snowstorm, Lady Anderson, wife of the chairman of the Orient Company, christened the Orontes, the finest Orient liner ever built at VickersArmstrong’s famous yards. This is the fifth 20,000 ton liner launched within five years. The Orontes is 664 feet by 75 feet, and is designed for the Australian service. She incorporates many improved details, and has accommodation for 1600 passengers.
