A standard Essex Sedan was picked at random from the stock, and is being completely dismantled in full view of the public, so that all and sundry can see the immense care and thought that has been put into the construction of this justly famous car. Their willingness to display to public view the M'hole of the inner working of the car, should prove their contention that the Essex has nothing to hide and offers “more motor car for less money” than any other make. The correct autumn goods continue to drift in to Thomson’s from all quarters according to favourable arrangements; paid for cash each 10th of month. Thomson’s get a little accommodation for their bankers; a tremendous advantage cash buying, cash selling. However, people must find out for themselves. The smaller arrangements are really great at Thomson’s. Look at the style and class of gloves and silk hosiery we supply at 4/11, 5/11 to 13/11 ltayser. Far cheaper, too, of course, any price, but their goods are au fait for Her Majesty. It pays too, goods like these, there is such wear in them and they look well all the time. Like Thomson’s tailor-made suits, so well cut, lined and tailored generally they never get done and look good enough for anything when given away to some poor person. Fine lot of pretty felts to-day in the new chocolate brims and big headfits, often difficult to get newest season’s things when wanted. New belts by Home mail, very smart; see windows. New rayons too. A velveteen window. Where will you equal the “Louis” goods? And mark the prices. ....
