OVERHEARD AT BRIDGE. THE HIT OF A “ LIFETIME.” The rubber had just ended, and we were putting down our scores. All of a sudden Old on mv left pulled out of his pocket a mottled jade fountain pen and held it aloft, >iying, “Isn’t that a dandy pen, boys?” We agreed that it certainly looked a beauty, first one asked to try it, then another. In a few minutes we all tried it, and my! how that pen did write. The game was quite forgotten for a while, John’s Shoaffer “Lifetime” pen being the centre of attraction. Funny thing we had another game last week, and Inoticcd three of the fellows had Sheaffer “Lifetime” Pens nestling in their waistcoat pockets. Perhaps it was a coincidence nut T don’t think so.
