HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. Thi monthly meeting of the general i committee of the Orari Horticultural j Society was held on Friday evening, ! when the president- (Air AV. E. Cook) | presided, and Alesdames R. Taylor. AA I Watson, J. A. Henderson, Aliss Campl bell. Messrs AW D. Moss (treasurer). A. Rysdale, J. B. Roberts, L. Pierce, find C. Unwin (secretary) were present. The sub-committee appointed to arrange for the publication of a list of donors and special prizes reported that they had accepted a tender, and had obtained GOO four-page folders with the required information for 55*. The action of the committee was confirmed. The following stewards were appointed for tkc day of the rdiow: Pot plants, cut flowers, etc.. Airs Taylor and Air Roberts; vegetables, potatoes and roots, Messrs A. Rysdale and L. Pierce: home produce, Airs Henderson and Airs AVatson; children’s and photographic, Air AA r . E. Cook : home industries, Aliss Campbell and AIKs Shanks; steward in charge of children’s decorative classes. Airs AV. AVatson. Air Roberts was appointed doorkeeper. Correspondence was received from the Tomukn Co-operative Dairy Co. -ud from the Orari Co-operative Dairy Co., while donations were received from Airs J. B.
