FEATHERWEIGHT CONTEST. By Telegraph—Pres, A ssoofatlon. AUCKLAND, Feb. 25. The professional featherweight boxing contest between Johnnie Leckie (Dunedin) and Matt Hatton (Auckland) drew a record attendance to the Town Hall to-night. Hatton won the first two pounds, but- Leckie scut him down for eight twice in the third, and then the referee intervened, saving the Aucklander from being completely knocked out. He awarded the fight to Leckie. oil a technical knock-out Leckie leaves for Sydney on Friday.
