Big Advertising Scheme. MILLION FUND PROPOSED. (United Press Association—By Eleetrls Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received February 25, 9.0 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. Following tho Prince of Wales’s speech urging better salesmanship, Mr Percy Lister (managing director of the R. A. Lister Coy.) has sent a letter to the Prime Minister, urging the creation of a fund of £1,000,000 to advertise British goods abroad. He offers to subscribe £SOOO, provided ninety-nine firms subscribe the same amount. He suggests that if £500,000 s thus subscribed, the Government should contribute a further £500,000. The consequent stimulus in the demand for British goods Avould relieve unemployment.
