Weather, except for an occasional shower, mainly fair. Dominion Meteorologist. Forecast—Winds, nnxlerate to strong between west and south-west, reaching gale forco at places in and south of Cook Strait. Weather unsettled and showery in western districts of the South Island and south of Oamaru; scattered showers also in the western districts of the North Island; elsewhere maiu’y fair to fine; cool temperatures.
