SHOOTING.

DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. Tho Timaru Defence Rifle Club held its weekly shoot on the Temuka range on Saturday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members and some lair shooting was done. Rifleman AV. E_ Jones again proved the winner. Though he is shooting off the scratch mark, he seems to have a happy knack of beating tho handicapper by about a point. Rifleman C. Blackwood was second in the match. The following are tho scores for tho weekly
