Dr H; B. Even, at present registrar of Wellington Hospital, has been appointed Medical Superintendent by the Hospital Board. A cablegram from London announces that the Daily Telegraph’s Parliamentary correspondent understands that Sir Alfred Mond will be given a Peerage shortly. A cable message from London reports that Mr and Mm Henry Ford sailed in the Majestic, as Mr ana Mrs Robinson, but the liner had not left port before tho whole ship was looking for Henry Ford. Visitors to the Hermitage yesterday included Reid party (3) (Auckland), Mrs Warwick, Miss Forth (Wellington), Mr and Mrs Sidney Smith (England), Mr Scarrott (Auckland), Mr and Mrs Skinner (Dunedin).
