JAPAN DEFEATS CUBA. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Australian Press Association—United Service.) (Received April 30, 8.30 p.m.) HAVANA, April 29. Japan entered the second round of the Davis Gup tennis contest by defeating Cuba on Sunday in the doubles, Abe and Toba playing Paris and Banet, and Winning 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 9-7. Cuba is thus eliminated "from the contest.
