The programme for the entertainment of the Bremen fliers will begin actively on Monday, and it is expected the enthusiasm at the popular reception will equal that accorded Colonel Lindbergh. Mrs Koehl and Mrs Fitzmaurice will arrive by the liner Dresden on Monday, and will participate in the welcome. The city’s reception will end on Tuesday and the fliers will proceed to Washington for the day, returning to New York on Thursday. They will receive the distinguished flying medal at Washington. It is intimated now that the airmen may fly back to Europe or if they return by steamer, they will make another attempt at a westward flight.
