ROAD AND SEWERS MAINTENANCE.

HARBOUR BOARD AND BOROUGH COUNCIL CONFER.

AGREEMENT REACHED . It was reported to last nigh Vs meeting ’ of tne Borough Council that the sub-committees appointed by the Tiniaru Harbour .Board and the Timaru Borough Council met for the purpose of further considering the possible settlement of any difficulties and misunderstandings between the Harbour Board and the Council. The Mayor expressed himself very strongly and refused to make any recommendation to his Council unless the Harbour Board agreed to part payment, of the George Street extension.
