(From Our Own Correspondent) EX-SERVICEMEN’S ASSOCIATION. 4.NNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting - was held on ihursday evening. All- J. C. McLeod (president) occupied the chair and there was a good attendance. The president, in presenting the annual report, said that lie was pleased to be able to state that the year had been a successful one, both financially and otherwise. The re-union last year had been attended by sixty members, and a very enjoyable evening had been spent. During the year, employment had been found for a number of exservice men, and assistance had been endered in obtaining pensions for men who had been disc\irged as fit, but who, through war service, had been incapacitated later. The Anzac Memorial service this year had been successful. The public had shown their appreciation by attending in large numbers. The hall was filled to overilowing. I The report and balance sheet were adopted. , Votes of thanks were passed to all 1 who had assisted the ..ssoeiation during the year, particularly on Anzac Day.

The annual subscription was fixed rat the same amount as last year. It was decided to hold a re-union on May 24, Empire Day. A vote of thanks was passed to the retiring officers. The election of officers resulted: — President, Air F. W. Morgan; vicepresident, Mr J. Lorimer; secretary, Mr W. AlcClure; teasurer, Mr J. B. Stewart; committee, Messrs J. C. AlcLeod, A. Black, F. Grayburn, Z. Sherratt, A. A. Readdie, H. Lord, R. W. Prout, G. Smith.
