PRIME MINISTER’S VIEWS,

STATEMENT FROM GERMANY.

(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received April 29, 5.5 p.m.) . BERLIN, April 28..

The Cairo correspondent of the “Vossiche Zeitung” interviewed Nahas Pasha, who said: "Britain, has no right to interfere with the independence which we already enjoy. Our standpoint simply is that we never been a part of the British Empire, and have no wish to be. We have the best intentions towards Britain, but we will not sacrifice the independence of Egypt to her Imperialistic tendencies. We cannot accept the Treaty as proposed by Britain, because it is founded on an entirely false basis as between mistress and servant. The only possible Treaty is one of equals.”
