MINIATURE RIFLES.
MAKIKIHI CLUB. The two nights shoot for a trophy donated by Air J. Curtin provided a keen contest. M. Caird won the trophy in the second shoot-off. Best scores off the rifle wero made by D. Lynch 34—35, AY. Goodeve 35 —32, J. Lynch 35 —32, H. Caird 32—33, 11. Shea 31—32, N. Rae 32 —33, N. Geaney 33 —34, J. Lane 31—32. The Leach weekly button was won by H. Caird, and the Mayo weekly button by J. Lane. The shoot for Air P. Reilly’s trophy was held on Alonday last. Best scores off the rifle were made by D. Lynch 35, F. Quinn 34, N. Rae 33, H. Caird 33, H. Shea 33, J. Quinn 33.. The trophy and Leach button wore won by F. Quinn, after three shoots off. J. Quinn won the Alayo weekly button.
