OBITUARY.
BISHOP MULES. By Telegraph—Press Association. NELSON, October 8. The death is announced of Charles Oliver Mules ; D.D., formerly Bishop of Nelson, in lus 91st year. Bishop Mules was held in very high esteem by all sections of the community.
MRS 11. G. WELLS. By Cable—Pross Association—Oupyrieht. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. (Received October 9, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 7. The death is announced of Mrs H. G. Wells, of cancer. The body will be cremated. The late Mrs Wells’s dearest wish was that her second son, Frank, should marry before her death, and the ceremony was performed quietly several hours before death. Deceased expressed a strong _ desire that nobody should wear mourning.
