In connection with a burglaij a Irving Clark’s warehouse, Kenneth i\lcQuoid (34), appeared at the Police Court on a charge of breaking and enteiing. Uc was remanded oil bail ot £‘oUU. Two brothers named llae, charged with the same offence, wero granted bait in .similar amounts. Frederick Heerclegan, postmaster at Ngorigatahi; near Rotorua, charged with stealing money belonging to the Postmaster-General, who had previously been refused bail, was allowed iibeity on security of £IOOO.
