Holy Communion Mill be celebrated on Sunday m St. Mary’s at 8 a.in., and St. Michael's 9..‘10 a.m. Also at Glen-iti at. 10 a.m. There will he. no S a.in. celebration at St. John’s. Evensong at St. Peter’s will take the form of a memorial service to the iafe Mrs W. B. Howell. The Rev. T. Stinson will conduct the services in Trinity Presbyterian Church to-morrow. An anthem will be rendered at each service: “In that Day shall the Lord of Hosts” in the morning, and “Sweet, Tender Flower” in the evening. A special choral service will he held at the Baptist Church to-mor-row night. The choir, under the baton of Mr J. Chiles, will render special anthems; duets and solos will also he contributed. The Rev. C. W. Duncumb will preach. The Rev. A. H. Wallace, who has been conducting the services at thu Congregational Church during the last five months, will conduct, his farewell services to-morrow. The induction of the new minister (Rev. F. ■L_ Shaw, 8.A.), will take place on Wednesday, and the welcome meeting on the following' evening. An “altar service” will he conducted in the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday evening. The Citadel Silver Band will play the celebrated (Handel), and the singing conjfany will sing “Consecration.” The meetings all day are to he conducted by Brigadier and Mrs Wallace, from Christchurch, assisted byMajor Shroeder. At :i p.rn., the children will participate in a junior “altar service.” The services in Chalmers Church will be conducted by the Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes. The subject, of the morning address will he “Highways of the Spirit.” In the evening the first address of a series on “Difficulties of Belief” will he given.’The evening service will he choral. The choir will sing the anthem, “Rejoice in the Lord” (Elvey), and a solo will be rendered by Mrs Jenkins. The afternoon service at Claremont will also he choral.
