TIMARU LADIES’ CLUB

The final of the championship of the Timani Ladies’ Golf Club was played yesterday at the Higlificld links benveen All's E. G. Kerr, tne present holder ot the title, and Airs Bannerman. The game was closely contested, good golf being played by both competitors. Mrs Keii's game contained lew limits and Airs Banii.umau played very steadily in all departments. The contest, proved very interesting as can be seen from The following details, and resulted in a win for All's Kerr by six up and four to play. The- first hole was halved in five, both players being on the green in three. At .tho second 'Airs Kerr readied the edge of the green with two very long shots, and won-the bole in five. JUNIOR CTTAAIPIONSHTP. Airs AV. Scott beat Aiiss Holdgate lor the junior championship. Airs Young and Aiiss Anstcv won the four ball bogey match, played yesterday, thirteen up.
