DROWNING FATALITY. By Talegraph-—Prt«« AssociationAUCKLAND, April 30. “These small boats are all right for paddling to a launch or yacht, but they are certainly not made to carry three or four persons across a stretch of water such as Rangitoto Channel,” said the Coroner (Mr iiunt, S.M.), at the inquest on the victims of the Rangitoto drowning fatality. The three victims wore Raymond Kirkwood Mathicson, Doris Ethel Longuet, and Annie Amelia Franklin. A verdict of death by accidental drowning was given. SUDDEN DEATH. WELLINGTON, A P ril 30. A middle aged lady, Mrs Bernard Prnd (Wairarapa) dropped dead at the ■ Lower Hutt railway station this mornzing. Deceased had been visiting relaand was returning home.
