BROADCASTING.
To the Editor of the “Timaru Herald.” Sir, —Many wireless enthusiasts in the Timaru district are wondering why no steps are being taken to procure a- broadcasting station for Timaru. Timaru has plenty of talent, both musical and elocutionary,,"which could be utilised. There are hundreds of people living within, a radius of twenty miles from Timaru who would gladly 'purchase crystal sets if Timaru possessed- a broadcasting station. Christchurch asd Dunedin aro too far away for crystal set to be of any use. —I am, etc., CRYSTAL.
