The bi'K.e also carried a white prayer book, the gitt ot Archdeacon Russell, and wore a stung of pearls, tho gift of her mother. Aliss Alum Henderson, a sister ot the bride attended as bridesmaid. She wore a frock of sedge green georgette with plcati’ngs of silver hice, and velvet lioners of pastel shades, finishing the hem. A. wreath of the same shaded floveis v.’:is worn in the hair and she carried a bouquet of autumn tinted flowers. Little Aliss Aliranda Turnbull, who wore a creme frock with silver trimmings, was train-bearer. All* Bernard Scully, of Invercargill, was best man.

Alter the ceremony a. reception was held in Ye Goode Jncente tea rooms where the guests were received by Miami Airs Henderson. Airs Henderson wore a most becoming frock of black georgette with an overdress of gold lace and a black hat to tone, with a bird mount, and earned a bouquet of scarlet roses. Airs Souuess, mother of tho bridegroom, wore a frock of brown beaded taffeta with hat to match, and carried an autumn bouquet. Airs "William Allan, tho grandmother of tho bride, wore a handsome frock of black cliai'meuse, relieved with gold. The happv coup le left by motor car for the north later in the evening. The bride, for a travelling costume, wore a rose • pink pleated repp cloth frock with a chic felt hat nnd a musquash fur coat.
