On inquiry yesterday from the secretary to the South Canterbury Hospital Board (Mr H. G. Naylor), it was learned that nothing definite has yet been done in the matter of the appointment of a medical superintendent for Timaru hospital, in place of Dr. T. L. Parr, who has resigned. Dr. Parr is to leave for Lower I-lutt on May 31. Mails which left Wellington on March 29, per the Tahiti, via San Francisco, arrived in London on April 26.
