The Munster of Industries and Commerce (the Hon. A. 13. McLeod) who is to represent the Government of New Zealand at the opening of the Federal Parliament Buildings at Canberra on May 0, left Wellington for Sydney Yesterday afternoon by the Marama. accompanied by Mrs McLeod and the Misses McLeod, his private secretary (Mr A. W. Mulligan,), and a representative of the Department of Industries and Commerce (Mr L. J. Schmidt). After the celebrations at Canberra, the Minister and his officers will visit Sydney and, Melbourne, to make certain enquiries on behalf of the Government into various trade matters affecting Australia and New Zealand. The Minister expects to return to New Zealand about tbo beginning of June. Fadeless window nets and madras muslin, fast to sun and washing, 2/9 to 4/9 a yard.
