DECREASE IN AUSTRALIA. By Coble —Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. MELBOURNE, April 29 The decrease in the basic wage under the Commonwealth Arbitration Court awards will come into operation, excepting in Perth and Adelaide, on May 1. In Melbourne and Sydney the reduction will be Is weekly, in Brisbane 2s 6d, and in Hobart Gd. In Adelaide there will be an increase of Is Gd. Perth remains us at present.
