I’lio principal items in the Postal section were (figures for 1926 quarter m parentheses);—Postages £425,146 (£312.481), miscellaneous receipts £43,935 (£43,239), and in Telegraph .section—Telegrams £110,087 (£115,035) tolls £97,733 (£95,913), telephone exchanges £214,802 (£231,543). During tho same quarter, tho withdrawals from the Post Office Savings Bank in the Dominion, exceeded tho deposits by £43.301, compared with nix excess of £76,184 in that quarter of 1926..
