Mr A. W. Bascand cam© to Timaru from Christchurch yesterday. Mr T. 0. Fox (borough engineer) left for Wellington yesterday. Mr V McKav, of the Tiinaru telegraph ‘branch of the Post Office, has Seen appointed postmaster at Albury.

Mr H. Kellett, of the Albury office, has been transferred to Timaru in place of Air McKay. Captain S. Satthertliwaito arrived in Timaru by the first express from the north yesterday morning. He left for the south in the afternoon.
